Bryony joined IRC in March 2016 and brings a wealth of different experience with her. Originally from the UK, she has been living in the Netherlands since 2012, after spending time living and working across the world from Australia, Brazil and Chile, to Ibiza, Italy and India. She has over ten years’ experience as an events manager, working in the music industry, for a large technology multi-national and for events agencies. More recently she headed up a business development department creating innovative events and incentives proposals for large blue-chip clients. Since graduating with a distinction level Masters in Environmental Engineering and Project Management from the University of Leeds in 2012, where her dissertation was focused on Female Headed Households and Access to Water and Sanitation, she has refocused into the not-for-profit world, first working as programme development coordinator for an international wildlife charity in Delhi and latterly as Marketing and Communications officer for a child rights charity in Amsterdam.
A keen linguist, Bryony speaks several languages to varying degrees of fluency, and, in addition to her MSc, has a BA in Latin American Studies along with PRINCE2.
In her spare time, Bryony loves to travel much as possible, keeps fit doing a variety of different sports and activities and enjoys learning new skills and handicrafts.
