The Community Water and Sanitation Agency (CWSA) shared baseline data on functionality and service levels of existing rural water and small town water facilities in about six regions at the Ghana Rural Water Forum in Accra on October 7, 2015.
Good news from Ghana! IRC Ghana and its contribution to help build Ghana's rural water monitoring seems to be going very well. "Indeed, we are firmly on the path to support the establishment of a national system for rural water monitoring in Ghana", says country director Vida Duti.
From testing monitoring service delivery indicators and tools in 3 pilot districts by the CWSA and Triple-S to applying monitoring at scale in 64 Ghanaian districts, one quarter of the country. That is what will happen in the framework of SMARTerWASH in the coming 3 years.
