Intern | International Programme
I am an intern at IRC. I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences pre-clinical with a minor in Religious Studies from the University of Central Florida. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Public Health with a concentration in Global Environmental Health from Emory University Rollin's School of Public Health. I am also earning a certificate in WASH. My interests include infectious diseases, and conducting qualitative and quantitative work related to MHM and WASH in schools. My objective is to work toward a safe, healthy and disease-free world. Previously, I have gained experience working as a Medical Scribe at the Emergency Department of Florida Hospital, where I learned first-hand about healthcare inadequacies. I have also had the opportunity to collaborate with renowned colorectal surgeons on a research publication (published in the Colorectal Disease Journal) involving a minimally invasive technique engineered to fight off cancer.
