Ružica has ten years professional experience on topics such as sustainable use of water resources, action research, adult learning, as well as monitoring of sustainable water and sanitation service delivery. She has worked for different organisations: governmental, educational, consultancy as well as the NGO sector. Currently she is working mainly on monitoring and learning in main IRC projects and programmes.
Before IRC, Ružica worked at the UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, WWF-NL and at Deltares in the Netherlands on topics related to sustainable use of water resources, and for four years at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Resource Management of the Republic of Serbia.
Ružica holds a Master of Science degree in Water Resources Management (UNESCO-IHE, Netherlands), and was originally trained in civil engineering (MSc in Water Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia).
Ružica has working experience in Eastern Europe, Africa and Asia.
She is fluent in Serbian and English, and has basic knowledge of Dutch and Spanish.
