Access to water, sanitation and hygiene is the gateway to opportunity and well-being, but to achieve universal access to these services by 2030 will require us to dramatically accelerate progress. Our All Systems symposia aim to do just that.
It is time for people's dignity and human rights to be better met through the provision of safe water and sanitation. To do this we need to improve services to make sure every home has taps and toilets, and every community has safe, continuous and unending water, sanitation and hygiene services. This will only happen if we strengthen local and national systems, galvanise political leadership and connect across silos and sectors to identify interconnected solutions.
Building on the landmark All systems go! 2019 Symposium, IRC is mobilising leaders, experts, activists behind a system strengthening approach through two important upcoming symposia.
All Systems Go Africa 2022 focuses on skills development in systems strengthening and galvanising African leadership behind it and All Systems Connect 2023 seeks to forge strong, interconnected, national and local systems solutions through new alliances and allies beyond the water and sanitation sector.
Find out how our two upcoming events can help you make the change that is needed.
Drive change and get a front-row seat to state-of-the-art thinking and experiences, develop the skills and tools to move from theory to practice for water, sanitation and hygiene systems approaches, and jump start a shared agenda for taking the learning forward in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Bringing together experts and activists, decision-makers and influencers from water, sanitation and hygiene as well as health, climate, economic development and beyond to find crucial connections, work smarter together, and connect to achieve social justice and effective services.
