Abstract

Part Two of the study presents empirical research from Tanzania in two sectors sreas, household water supplies and health development. It provides information on the practical outcome on the ground” of the efforts within agencies to give more attention to gender equality in development policies and interventions. The fieldwork was carried out in the 1980s in 11 villages in four regions in Tanzania.
