| Abstract | A Global Forum for the Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WSSCC) of the World Health Organization was held in Oslo in September, 1991. This was the first meeting of the WSSCC, which is the successor to the ESA Collaborative Council established in the Hague in November 1988. Volume 1 of the Forum's Proceedings includes a short presentation of the new administrators, and the council's priorities and procedures. A general outline of each of the six working sessions; global collaboration, country-level collaboration, information, education and communication, water resources, human resources development and urbanization is given. New and continued working groups are briefly presented with their rationale, objectives and coordinator's name and address. The annex contains a list of participants. |
