Guest blogger: Analyst and market developer for sustainable water, sanitation, hygiene and energy.| WASHNote
Felix is interested in the development of markets for sustainable services, such as monitoring for sustainable WASH and zero-energy housing in the Netherlands. He is skilled in the use of analytical tools, in process management in complex systems and in the use of computer-based models to gain policy insights. Some of the projects Felix has worked on include accelerating national and subnational WASH monitoring for improved asset management and service delivery (UNICEF, IRC, Akvo) and advising on information systems and analysing for the monitoring and evaluation of OneWASH Plus for Small Towns in Ethiopia (IRC, UNICEF).
In 2016 Felix graduated from Delft University of Technology. He finished his masters Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management in collaboration with IRC. His thesis is on social learning processes across multiple governance levels in rural water supply. He constructed an agent-based model to simulate learning processes in a case study in Uganda.
Felix is currently working at WASHNote and is based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
