| Abstract | This report contains the manuals for extension workers as used in the Village Water Supply Programme of the Water Resources Assessment and Development Project in Sudan. The report is Appendix H of the final project report and is an annex to Appendix G on "Extension for Village Water Supply". The "Manual for pre-construction extension", forming Part A of the report, is used for the first two extension visits. Part B is the "Manual for hygiene extension in villages with an open well". For the collection and processing of field data and processing of field data, a methodology was developed which is described in Part C; "Manual for monitoring of water collection and water consumption". It includes a users manual for the data processing programme "QUEST". Examples of forms for questionnaires, contracts, field reports etc., as well as of posters are presented in annexes. |
