Abstract

The occupied Palestinian territory (OPT) has inadequate facilities for sewage and wastewater treatment and disposal. Israel, as an occupying power, is responsibility for providing these. Palestinian authorities are obliged to manage wastewater in the OPT but are frequently hampered by Israeli policies. [authors abstract]
