The paper is provides an overview of the findings of the UNICEF-IRC partnership on knowledge management and sector learning for water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services in the West and Central African Region (WCAR). The main purpose of this paper is to underline the importance of learning for better performance in the WASH sector and to contribute to the discussion on how this can be achieved.

This paper has been developed as part of the UNICEF – IRC partnership Knowledge Management and Sector Learning in West and Central Africa Countries.
