Abstract

This technical brief covers a process of rehabilitating small-scale piped water distribution systems (with pipe diameters up to 150mm) after natural disasters such as earthquakes, flooding, hurricanes, tornadoes, severe weather and fires. It does not cover disasters concerned with industrial pollution. This intervention
aims at restoring supply to survival levels.
