The publication is the second rollout of the WASH in Schools sector’s flagship publication and marks a renewed commitment to support global efforts that ensure all schools provide access to safe water, child friendly sanitation and hygiene education programs. As of today, 69 international organizations have endorsed the publication and joined the global campaign.  Raising Even More Clean Handsis an advocacy piece that will be used to strengthen the six points of the renewed Call to Action: (1) Set minimum standards for WASH in Schools (WinS); (2) Monitor WinS coverage through EMIS systems (3) Engage with at scale WinS programmes; (4) Involve multiple stakeholders; (5) Contribute to the evidence base; and (6) Raise the profile of WinS.  The importance of these actions points are supported through data which reflect the need for stronger WASH in Schools programming.  Every Country and community is unique. Because the experience of children will be different in each situation, teaching and learning tools must be relevant to the particular location and children’s needs. To enhance the effectiveness of this publication, we encourage you to adapt it to your context through translation, use of local data, images and local partners’ logos.  [Author's abstract]
