| Abstract | The objectives of this study are: i. to update knowledge of the status of urban sanitation in the country; ii. to determine sustainable sanitation solutions appropriate to different environments; iii. to review and propose improvements for the institutional framework of the sector; and iv. to set priorities in the provision of improved services. The four volumes of the study are entitled: Vol. 1 : main report; Vol. 2 : present status assessment; Vol. 3 : household demand for improved sanitation; and Vol. 4 : technology alternatives. |
