This guide aims to offer practical suggestions on how to turn a "multidisciplinary" team to an "interdisciplinary" team in which specialists from different disciplines can work together in an effective manner. The document is a companion to three other WASH reports on providing effective technical assistance: "A facilitator guide for conducting a team planning meeting" (technical report no. 32), "Guide for conducting a debriefing" (technical report no. 32S), and "Conducting a team planning meeting for studies and concept development tasks : facilitator's guide" (technical report no. 87).
