K-Rep Bank’s Maji ni Maisha programme provides loans for water infrastructure to communities where consumers are willing to pay for clean and safe water. Investments financed under the programme can include: development or rehabilitation of small piped water systems; development of water sources such as boreholes, springs or rivers; construction of water purification and storage facilities; and installation of metering, billing, technical and financial management systems to improve the efficiency of water supply services.
