This report presents a preliminary analysis of data that will used for the 2014 UN-Water Global Analysis and Assessment of Sanitation and Drinking-Water (GLAAS) report. It uses data from 86 countries and 21 external support agencies (ESAs), while the full GLAAS report. The topics covered include the human right to water and sanitation, national policies and financing.

The report was prepapred for the Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) High-Level Meeting (HLM) 2014.
