This Compact prepared by national stakeholders summarises a number of the key issues, required actions to be taken by, and  commitments of, the Government of Ghana (GoG) and its Development Partners in furtherance of the objectives of the Sanitation and Water for All (SWA) partnership.

The commitments of the Compact are presented under the following five thematic strategies and measures (and/or actions):

  1. Enhancing Political Prioritization and Commitment
  2. Linking Policies to Plans, Programmes and Projects
  3. Improving Investments to meet Priority Challenges
  4. Strengthening Ownership and Leadership
  5. Achieving Good Governance and Accountability
