| Abstract | This brief focuses on financing of rural water supply and sanitation in Odisha and in particular in the three gram panchayats in the Chhatrapur block of Ganjam district. It provides data on annual budget allocations for water and sanitation at state and gram panchayat level from 2017-2018 to 2021-2022. The study is part of the Pragati project aimed at promotion of hygiene in three gram panchayats of Ganjam district, comprising of two parts: demand generation through hygiene awareness and meeting the demand through skill building on soap making. |
