Abstract

This book begins with an introduction to Child-to-Child and gives some examples of the ways in which the methodology has been used elsewhere. Section 1 contains all the Child-to-Child Activity Sheets with a special box on each giving more examples of how these have been used and finally an extra sheet on "Making Our Own Activity Sheets" in response to particular local problems is also included. Section 2, "Approaches to Learning and Teaching", gives a detailed description of the Child-to-Child methodology with many examples, such as Children's stools and hygiene; Clean, safe water; Caring for children with diarrhoea; Worms; Immunisation; and Malaria. Section 3 offers practical advice on how to plan and organise an evaluation. There is also a section on how to run a workshop. The final section is a list of Child-to-Child publications indicating the languages in which they are available and where they can be obtained.
