WASH Governance Expert | Change Hub
Bénigne is the WASH Governance Expert in IRC under Isoko y'Ubuzima Project in Rwanda, her work consists of driving IRC’s capacity building agenda and lead the decentralised governance strengthening in the 10 focus districts of the project.
Bénigne holds an MSc. Degree in water policy and governance, and a BSc in Civil Engineering with specialisation in Water Resources Management. After her Masters, Bénigne did consulting work on water resources management and WASH related projects, which is where she first crossed paths with IRC as a consultant. Bénigne also has extensive experience as a facilitator and content developer in capacity building and community empowerment programmes.
Bénigne is fully fluent in Kinyarwanda, English, French, and is currently learning Swahili.
