His focus is on sanitation-related issues and waste management. He has expertise in many aspects of WASH, including water supply, water quality, sanitation demand generation, sanitation marketing, institutional sanitation, and hygiene promotion. He also has extensive experience in supporting national policy initiatives and capacity building programmes.
Peter has over thirty years of professional experience in international development, environmental protection, sanitation and hygiene, and water resources. He has worked in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America, and held positions in the private sector, government, non-governmental organisations, and international agencies.
Peter has a great deal of hands-on experience with project design, management, and evaluation, as well as developing technical guidance and national policies. His academic background is in geology and hydrology. He currently lives in Geneva, Switzerland with his family.
