Angela Huston joined IRC as a Programme Officer in 2016. She contributes to the research and documentation of IRC's emerging praxis for working with and strengthening WASH systems. She is head of IRC's Accountability and Adaptation team. The team is part of IRC's Global change hub, and is responsible for planning, monitoring, learning, and knowledge management functions across the organisation.
Angela has a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from McGill University, completed in close collaboration with the IRC Uganda team. Angela is experienced in dialogue facilitation and inclusive multi-stakeholder methods. She values pragmatism and humour.
Angela speaks English, Spanish, French, and is currently learning Italian and German.
