Abstract

This guide is a part of the National Program of Control of Losses and Uncounted Water, in the background of the Local Improvement Program, developed by UNICEF in association with the Economic and Development Ministry and the Superintendence of Domiciliary Public Services. It is presented in a theoretical form and it practices the main administration systems that should be implemented, so that a public entity supplier of water distribution and maintenance services be considered a modern and efficient company. The guidance is structured in two thematics. In the first the concepts are related with the topic of managerial administration that are presented. Modules of administrative, commercial and financial administration are developed in the second thematic. The guide will be delivered to personal responsible of the administrative and operative management, mainly in municipalities of until 12.500 inhabitants, where are the objective of the population Program.
