Your support provides us the energy to keep going – working together to create strong national and local systems that transform lives

Dear friends,
And so we've made it through another year of polycrisis! Despite the challenges posed by global instability, geopolitical tensions, demographic transition, climate crisis, and a shifting political landscape where national interests take priority over international solidarity, together, we’ve achieved much to be proud of.
This year, our shared Heads of State Initiatives celebrated the launch of three Presidential Compacts: in Ghana, Indonesia and South Sudan. 2,000 new participants from 109 countries developed their systems strengthening capacity using our WASH Systems Academy. And our amazing teams adapted to increasingly difficult environments, particularly in the Sahel, ensuring our work remains impactful even in fragile settings.
Looking ahead, 2025 will be an important year in our continuing evolution into a federated network. One of the most significant transformations in our history, this change will ensure our future as a collaboration of locally legitimate and globally relevant independent organisations.
While we continue to transform ourselves, we also look forward to working with you in 2025 on building the strong systems needed to bring resilience in the face of a changing world. Among other work, we'll be focusing on climate-resilient WASH solutions; professionalisation of rural water services and securing the finance and political leadership needed to achieve our goals.
Your friendship, partnership, knowledge and support to our shared mission underpins our success and provides us the energy to keep going – working together to create strong national and local systems that transform lives.
Thank you for your unwavering support.
