On 15 May 2012, Catarina Fonseca presented the life-cycle costs approach as the seventh installment of the World Bank and Rural Water Supply Network’s webinar series on rural water supply.

Catarina presented the key concepts behind the approach, such as planning for different cost components of a service. She also gave examples of organisations who are now applying this approach, such as Fontes Foundation Uganda. Catarina shared how the life-cycle costs approach can benefit the work of global WASH sector actors.
