We aim to show throughout this entire campaign the importance and potential uses the life-cycle cost approach. Anyone who is conducting or is interested in WASH-related work can take examples from the campaign to influence budgeting, policy making, and planning processes for WASH service delivery.

Each month, from October 2012 to March 2013, the campaign will feature a different topic with a roundup of key findings and facts from the WASHCost research.  After the water services theme, the campaign will focus on the uptake of the life-cycle costs approach by different organisations around the world. The last topic of the campaign will take a close look at hygiene findings.
