''... Our warmest thanks for your contribution to the success of the WASH Conference 2011. The training component of the event was an outstanding success with more than three quarters of the delegates to stay for the full week...” This is how Dr. Regina Souter, Programme Manager, International Water Centre, Brisbane, Australia thanked IRC's Christine Sijbesma.

The WASH conference 2011 in Australia attracted a total of 237 registered attendees representing over 100 organisations from 40 countries. ''It was an outstanding event enjoyed by all, thanks in no small part to your contribution as a WASH conference presenter and training facilitator''.

"Applying some tools learnt to my work in my country"

Together with Antoinette Kome, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, Christine facilated training on 'Performance monitoring for rural sanitation and hygiene programs'.
