Intern | IRC Ethiopia
Vincent Thomas joined IRC as an intern in May 2016, assisting on the monitoring and evaluation of the OneWash Plus programme in Ethiopia.
During his three month internship Vincent will be conducting a quantitative survey and will carry out more qualitative inquiries focusing on water quantity and quality dimensions of household water, sanitation and hygiene services in small Ethiopian towns. His work will complement the results of the baseline survey that was carried out as part of the OneWash Plus Programmme and support the team and partners in developing the upcoming mid-line survey.
Vincent has been working 10 years (2005-2015) in Afghanistan with different NGOs and local research organisations on the social and institutional aspects of traditional irrigation systems. Over the past year Vincent has shifted his focus to the area of water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) and has enrolled in an MSc in ‘Community Water and Sanitation’.
