Rory Villaluna, a good friend of IRC, passed away on 10 October

At IRC we are shocked by the sad news of the passing away of Rory Villaluna on 10 October 2014. We all remember Rory as a hard working professional, with an inexhaustible amount of energy, enthusiasm and sense of humour and simply a great person to work with.
Rory collaborated with us in the IRC-led Resource Centre Development 18 Countries Programme (RCD18) (2002-2006). During that period, she became Executive Director of Streams of Knowledge (also called STREAMS), a global coalition of water and sanitation resource centres. Her organisation, the Philippine Centre for Water and Sanitation (PCWS) hosted the STREAMS secretariat, which it took over from IRC.
We pass on our sincere condolences to her family and friends and her colleagues at the WASH Cluster Philippines.
